We are interested in the mechanisms of the stem cell microenvironment and its perturbation in diseases such as inflammation and cancer. Using the gut as a model system and applying mouse genetics, epigenomics and gut organoid cultures, we investigate signalling, chromatin modification and the transcriptional basis of gastrointestinal stem cell niches.
