RESEARCH:

Protein homeostasis network

EDUCATION:

Postdoctoral Fellow: Whitehead Institute, Cambridge MA
Ph.D.: European Molecular Biology Laboratory, Heidelberg, Germany
M.Sc.: University of Oulu, Finland

FIELDS OF INTEREST:

  • Functional Genomics and Proteomics
  • Cellular & Molecular Structure & Function

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

I am interested in the protein homeostasis network, how it is organized in the cell, how it has diversified during millions of years of evolution, and how it is regulated in health and disease. My laboratory also develops functional proteomics methods for investigating challenging biomolecular interactions, such as drug/target and ligand/receptor interactions.
