Harriet Druker, MSc, received a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counselling from McGill University in 1996.  Prior to joining the Cancer Genetics Program at The Hospital for Sick Children in 2000, she worked in Prenatal Diagnosis at The Toronto General Hospital and in the Division of Clinical and Metabolic Genetics at The Hospital for Sick Children.  Harriet is a senior cancer genetic counsellor who helped to establish the first paediatric Cancer Genetics Program in North America.  She is the Director of the Cancer Genetic Counselling Course for Master students at The University of Toronto.  Additionally, she has served as a clinical supervisor to hundreds of students.  She is a principal investigator and co-investigator on a number of research studies related to hereditary cancer syndromes.  She is a member of three international research groups (International Research Consortium for Bi-Allelic Mismatch Repair, DICER1 International Research Group, LiFE International Research Consortium for Li-Fraumeni Syndrome).  Harriet holds a national board position as a member of the Genetic Counselling Awareness Week Committee with the Canadian Association for Genetic Counsellors.
