MMG 3006Y, Session 5 (Winter 2), 78 hours, 1 credit

Ongoing learning is essential in this fast-growing field. This course informs students about the available resources in genomic medicine and develop an information portal for students for continued learning. We deliver a series of complementary lectures highlighting new techniques in allied fields such as proteomics, metabolomics, and gene expression analysis. Students extend their understanding of genomic medicine with topics including tumour and prenatal diagnostic sequencing, molecular pathology, and learn how new assays are deployed to the clinic.
