New! Summer Undergraduate Scholars Program

The Molecular Genetics Summer Undergraduate Scholars Program is a new summer research opportunity in the Department of Molecular Genetics for students who study and reside outside of Ontario. Join us for a prestigious 12 week research experience from May to July 2016 in the labs of world leading scientists, studying stem cells, infectious disease, cancer and more. Summer Scholars will present their research at summer poster sessions and an end of summer Research Symposium with faculty. They also have the opportunity to experience life in Toronto, from seeing the sites to engaging in fun summer activities with other summer researchers, grad students, and faculty. Roundtrip economy travel to Toronto and housing for the research term are provided. Students will also receive a summer stipend for their work of $4800.

8 Summer Scholars positions are available. Complete application packages are due on December 1, 2015, with decisions announced in early 2016.
