The course will examine the molecular aspects that govern the dynamic changes in the cytoskeleton during different cellular processes including, but not restricted to, cell division and cell migration in different model systems from bacteria to humans. The different topics will be discussed in relation to student led presentations of current research papers. Students will be graded on their presentations, participation in discussion and on the submission short grant proposals.
